Every love story has its own unique beginning, and for Courtney and CJ, it all started with a friendly game of pool — thanks to a little matchmaking from Courtney’s dad. What began as teammates soon turned into a spark that grew into something so much more.
How It All Began
Courtney’s dad introduced the two by having them both play on the same pool team. Between the laughter and shared competition, a connection quickly formed. Their first date was the perfect mix of romance and simplicity — dinner by the water followed by a walk along the beach. It was the kind of evening that leaves you smiling long after it ends.
When CJ decided to propose, he wanted it to be a moment Courtney would never forget. During their first vacation together in Florida, surrounded by family and friends, CJ surprised her with a “Marry Me” setup — complete with balloons, flowers, and all the love in the air. Of course, she said yes!

The morning began with laughter and excitement on both sides. As the groomsmen got ready, they quickly learned one lesson — it’s best to finish your beers before photo time! Meanwhile, Courtney and her bridesmaids looked adorable in matching blue-accented pajamas as they shared laughs, makeup touches, and sweet moments before getting dressed.
The First Look and Private Vows
One of the most emotional moments of the day came during their First Look. Courtney and CJ shared private vows with one another — words filled with love, gratitude, and promises for the future.
Their adorable one-year-old daughter, Sophia, soon joined for family photos. Although she was a little overwhelmed by all the excitement, she stayed calm and curious the entire time. And just when everyone thought she was finished with photos, Sophia kept coming back for more! Later that evening, she even joined her parents on the dance floor, clapping along during their First Dance — a moment everyone will remember.

The maid of honor truly earned her title — holding the fabric draped across the ceremony cross to keep it from blowing away, and even stepping in to pull the officiant aside just in time for the couple’s First Kiss. It was a perfect blend of love and laughter that made the ceremony unforgettable.
Dancing, Ice Cream, and the Perfect Ending
As the sun set, the celebration kicked into full swing. Courtney and CJ made an outfit change into matching sweatshirts and sweatpants, ready to dance the night away in comfort and style. The groomsmen followed suit with their own twist — wearing their ties as headbands on the dance floor!
Guests enjoyed delicious cake followed by a sweet surprise — an ice cream cart, the perfect treat for a fun-filled evening. Before their send-off, we slipped outside to capture a few more portraits under the night sky.
Inside, the couple shared a private last dance, just the two of them soaking in their final moments as the music played softly. While Courtney sweetly waved goodbye to guests, CJ humorously made sure everyone knew it was time to go. Their night ended with a magical LED wand exit, surrounded by laughter, light, and love.
